Donna should've lived on as a genius, figured out a way to gene-splice herself with McGyver as well as the doctor, then build her own time machine from paperclips (or grow a tardis from common british species of mushroom) and gone on to win at the entire universe. Off-screen since Moffat wouldn't touch her, but still.

Also Journey's End didn't bother me much. Fan-wank all over the place, but I'm cool. Four seasons of RTD-finales in and RTD's final stand at that, I was not surprised.

The last two specials of Tennant Era were much more terrible, and a horrifying way for Ten to end. And not really how RTD should want to be remembered.

And trust me. With Moffat, you'll know the difference. Women are basically uninteresting unless their EMOTIONS make them DESTROY THE WORLD because of EMOTIONS. Which guys don't have. We have a sense of responsibility and the ability to think rationally instead, you see.

I'm still torn about what I think about season five. In one way, I truly dug the direction it took, in another... I found myself missing RTD in several respects. Matt Smith I'm cool with, but it's pretty clear the goal here was to make the doctor less of a giant bundle of charm and play more on the quirky side.

Also yes mindrape. :(
