THIS SNOW STORM
HOLY FUCK
OK so the weatherman said that there would be snow today and I sadfaced a bit because goddamn it's not even November yet, what the hell weather. But I didn't expect it to be anything big.
At about 8:15, the power in our building goes out. Now, there are no windows we can really see out of, so we've got now way of seeing outside, and so the whole center is suddenly PITCH BLACK. A few emergency lights. That's it.
Now, a few minutes later the power comes back on and we spend the rest of our shifts joking about how fail the building is, that we lost power in just a little storm. Then my shift ends.
Then I step outside.
HOLY FUCK IT IS A BLIZZARD
Our building wasn't fail. OUR BUILDING WAS ACTUALLY AWESOME AND EQUIPPED WITH A BACKUP GENERATOR. We're the only building lit up as far as the eye can see. TOTAL BLACKOUT OTHERWISE.
AAAAAH AND I HAVE TO BUS TO WORK TOMORROW
