Oh, damn this was good. I loved the bit about Suki's skin: the occasional divot or raise of a scar only enhanced the topography of her form. That there was a spot, just at the base of her slender neck, that made Suki go wonderfully rigid with just the right amount of pressure

I love that section; nicely low key yet super evocative.
