Oh, I'm fully up to date on the manga, I'm just going back and critiquing things in no particular order. The Kakuzu/Hidan fight...well, it appeals to my love of Victory Through Planning, but CHouji barely did anything, and Ino did even less. It should have been much better in that regard.
Haha, well, when Kishimoto goes out of his way to give indept explanations, that only increases my nitpickiness. Oda has the right idea with the Devil Fruit: few simple rules, keep them consistent. Kishimoto seems hell-bent on making Chakra as complicated as possible and that simply rouses my continuity geek from its slumber and motivates me to point out contradictions.
