HEY ONE PIECE FANDOM

I think it's great that you have a newfound appreciation for Boa Hancock. And I totally agree that her kicking a lot of ass this chapter was totally hot and awesome. I will not argue this.

But. Can we please, please stop talking about how she's "finally showing that she deserves to be in the Shichibukai" et al? I mean, really. Nobody doubts that Doflamingo deserves to be there, and his resume thus far is making two run-of-the-mill marines play-fight, and killing a man whose role in the story was to the be cocky small-fry that Luffy one-punched. SCARY.

And yet, his strength is assumed, because hey, he's one of the Shichibukai. They don't give that job to just anybody. The title alone speaks volumes about how strong he is.

So why is it that Boa Hancock has to 'prove herself'? No, wait, don't answer that, I'm pretty sure I can guess.

*laughs* I was too busy being pleased that my long awaited wish for Boa's fighting skills to be shown (I've been really waiting for this since chapter 522(?) because I was growing a bit exasperated with all the hate I was seeing *g) to really think about how my language sounded. *guilty look* I should really remember more often that, on the internet, people can only ever take your words at face value.

And yeah, the subtext there was *not* subtle at all. It got even less subtle when Oda revealed that Boa's 'East Blue' earned her an 80,000 bounty while Luffy's only earned him a 30,000!

*beams* Thank you so much!
