I actually did it.

That's right. I made a comm for fanfic readings. Once I actually get some content on there I am just going to be pimping this out RELENTLESSLY, but if any of you want to get a head start on me and spread it far and wide beyond the scope of my fandoms, GO WITH GOD'S BLESSING.

On another topic, I need a good piece of fanfiction to do as a first reading. Preferably something fairly short(in the <10000 word range) and from a fandom I am familiar with. Avatar, One Piece, various Final Fantasies, Chrono Trigger, Golden Sun and Last Exile would be the best choices, but I'm sure most of you have a vague idea of what I like and don't. Any suggestions, guys?

She has gen stuff, too. (Granted, most of it is of the HINT HINT variety, but The Red Coast and Handling Conflicts Between Cats And Dogs in particular are both highly entertaining and lacking in hintage.)

And if you don't, then I'm gonna have to. Or maybe I can coerce my friend Noah into doing it. He has a good reading voice. I can force him because he owes me $50 that I'm never getting back in actual cash. :D

Actually she's got a het one, too. Mihawk/Kalifa. Crackiest pairing ever but of course she makes it work...although it does have Kaku in it being a Lucci fanboy, but I'm not sure if it's intended as hero worship!Kaku or gay for Lucci!Kaku. I guess you can take it either way.

Well, I wasn't really referring to teh ghey, although that is a minor factor. It's more that everything I've seen of hers has been CP9 and World Government focused, and that's what doesn't really appeal to me. D'ffrent strokes.

It's not one of the fanfics on your list; more like a fancomic anyway, but I'd suggest Obsidian's Lament.

It's a Beast Machines photocomic that's essentially a sequel to the series. It's very good, has a few completed stories, and is ongoing - at this point it's pretty much a continuity of its own as each one builds on the last.

The only response I have to that other than a nod of acknowledgment is that "embargo" is a really entertaining word.
