Most ships, I can at least tilt my head and see where they're coming from. But there's some ships that just straight up baffle me (Spandam/Kalifa whut).

It's really just a matter of tone. If you're talking about how you feel about a ship, people are less likely to take it personally than if you talk about how they feel about the ship.
