HEY GUYS, SPECIAL REQUEST. We all know that Joss Whedon is a cruel god, and loves to inflict suffering upon his creations. Could you all list some of the nasty things he's done to his characters? I don't need Dr. Horrible or Firefly examples, but anything else he's written would be great. Doesn't have to be a death, although those are A++ too.

Nothing in specific, I was just going out to get the Christmas tree with the family this morning and on the way there a few lines popped into my head randomly. And I thought the concept was hilarious so I spent the whole time thinking of new ones.
