It's interesting how two things can take almost opposite paths and still wind up in the same place.

( In which I speak rather disparagingly about how Naruto and Bleach have gone of late. )

Bored at work today, so I reread the Forest Exam arc of Naruto. I gotta say, I must have been in a daze or struck by a fever or something when I first read this part, because there was a ton of stuff that I just plain forgot about.

( Spoilery details within. Everything is my opinion, obviously. )

I also have thought on the Boiling Rock, but it's almost 4 AM now so I'm going to save them for tomorrow.

Yes, I finally cracked and wrote some Naruto fanfiction. Feel free to jeer and mock, or whatever.

I guess this officially makes me part of the Naruto fandom. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
